This beautiful rural backyard presented a variety of challenges to solve topography and building floor elevation barriers, while mixing in an interesting program for hardscaping, landscaping, and functional gathering spaces.  A two-tired retaining wall system and steps lead the user down to a patio space for dining, lounging, and uses of the back yard and garden.   The planting design uses a mirror of evergreen shrubs to highlight symmetry and the beauty of the hardscape walls and steps.  The brown pavers, wall block, and mulch were chosen to compliment the house.
