We’re looking for a Business Operations Analyst to play a key role in optimizing systems, improving communication, and supporting operations from the inside out. If you’re a systems thinker with a love for numbers, technology, and teamwork, this role could be your perfect fit.

Responsibilities:

  • Become our in-house expert on LMN (Landscape Management Network) software

  • Perform data entry, reporting, and analysis for job performance and cost tracking

  • Collaborate with managers to interpret data and support better decision-making

  • Assist with job costing, pricing, and estimating template creation

  • Organize and streamline systems to improve workflow and team communication

  • Support staff with time/material tracking and use of LMN tools

  • Conduct trainings on LMN and reporting tools for staff

  • Help manage fleet records and maintenance schedules

  • Assist with financial tasks like receipt tracking, project billing, and payment monitoring

  • Develop and monitor customer and staff communication portals

Requirements:

  • Strong background in math, accounting, or business systems

  • Experience with software platforms (LMN or similar is a plus)

  • Excellent organizational and system-building skills

  • High attention to detail and the ability to multitask

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience in landscaping or office operations is helpful but not required

  • Ability to work independently, think critically, and contribute to team success

  • Self-motivated and proactive problem-solver

Description:

You’ll work on a variety of high-end residential and commercial properties, helping our clients keep their lawns and plantings healthy all season long.

What You’ll Do:

  • Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems (both residential and commercial)

  • Diagnose issues with controllers, valves, wiring, and coverage

  • Perform spring system startups and fall winterizations

  • Collaborate with our maintenance and construction crews to coordinate services

  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with clients and teammates

  • Keep accurate records of services and materials used

What You Bring:

  • At least 2 years of irrigation experience (required)

  • A strong work ethic and eye for detail

  • Familiarity with common irrigation brands (Hunter, Rain Bird, etc.)

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • A valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  • NH Irrigation License (a plus, or willingness to obtain with our support)

Job description

Design Works Landscaping in Hudson, NH, is hiring an Assistant Project Manager to join our crew. We have a total of 3 project managers and are looking for additional experienced hands to help lead our crew of 25+.

We are specifically looking for someone with experience in irrigation diagnostics and wiring.

Key Responsibilities:
Assistant Project Manager Duties:

  • Support the Project Manager in planning and coordinating landscaping projects.
  • Communicate project timelines, milestones, and updates with team members and clients.
  • Ensure materials and equipment are available for scheduled tasks.
  • Monitor project progress and report any challenges to the Project Manager.
  • Lead a team of crew members in the execution of landscaping and irrigation projects.
  • Supervise on-site work to ensure quality standards and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Provide hands-on assistance with tasks such as irrigation, planting, grading, and hardscaping.
  • Conduct daily site inspections to verify that work is on schedule and completed to specifications.
  • Teach and train field technicians
  • Other duties as assigned

Irrigation Tech Duties:

  • Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems, ensuring optimal performance and water efficiency.
  • Conduct system diagnostics and troubleshoot issues, providing cost-effective solutions.
  • Design and implement irrigation layouts tailored to project needs.
  • Program and adjust irrigation controllers, ensuring proper scheduling for plant health.
  • Educate clients on system operation and maintenance.
  • Monitor automated irrigation systems.
  • Manage/complete Irrigation openings and closing for our maintenance team
  • Teach and train field technicians

Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in irrigation system installation and maintenance; landscaping project management experience preferred.
Education/Certification: High school diploma or equivalent required. Certification in irrigation systems or landscaping is a plus.
Skills:

  • Strong technical knowledge of irrigation systems, including pumps, valves, and controllers.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and project plans.
  • Familiarity with landscaping tools and equipment.
  • Good safety and driving record
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Good personal and professional references from previous work experience. References required.

We’re expanding our team and looking for an experienced, motivated Excavator Operator to join us in snow removal operations during the winter months. This role is perfect for someone with excavation expertise and a passion for winter operations.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience operating excavators and other heavy machinery
  • Proficient in operating excavation equipment (excavators, dozers, haul trucks)
  • Hands-on experience in excavation, site grading, and snow removal
  • Strong work ethic, dependability, and team-oriented attitude
  • Ability to anticipate project needs and proactively solve problems
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Must be willing to plow during winter months
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Operate excavators, dozers, and other heavy equipment with precision, ensuring efficient snow removal and site grading
  • Manage grading of dirt, stone, and snow during the winter season, ensuring clear and safe conditions
  • Lead a team of shovelers and ensure safe and effective plowing of sites during snow events
